Well, Mr. Findley, even though I'm a democrat (go Bernie Sanders!) I still enjoyed this. It is true that governments can become corrupt as evidenced by history, and I could rattle off a few (like Nazi Germany or the U.S.S.R), but I think most people will get the gist of what I'm saying without going into too much of a political tirade. And while it often seems that Sci Fi either portrays an evil corporation (oh my, those pesky Republicans, haha), or a corrupt government, when it came strictly to entertainment value and a realistic portrayal of characters in this world view, the story came through with a solid five stars. I also thought that Mark and Michelle's marital and romantic relations were quite well sketched out, and thus, the development of the characters was quite thorough, especially considering the condensed story that we had here. The only issue I had was with the funeral video... I didn't understand why Mark wouldn't have watched it with his wife to show her his support. But that was a minor complaint, and the story was otherwise handled very well.
